Open Modelica Development Notes

This page contains information related to the development of OpenModelica.

Setting up the development environment.

The following software is required.

Cygwin (or visual studio) http://www.cygwin.com/
Antlr http://www.antlr.org/
RML http://www.ida.liu.se/~pelab/rml

The following software is not required but recommended:

Corba (mico) http://www.mico.org/
Tortoise SVN (subversion) client http://tortoisesvn.org/
Graphviz (vizualize graphs, e.g. Modelica AST) http://www.graphviz.org/

Checking out and configuring the software

Current svn repository

remote.ida.liu.se/home/pelab/subversion/modelica/OpenModelica/

Subdirectories:
/trunk
/branches
/tags

For main trunk and ssh:

2005-04-08 [levon]: Is mico really required? I think it's optional.

2005-04-12 [petar]: I belive that we should abandon socket and go to mico instead, since the socket communication has bugs for large texts

2005-04-15 [levon]: Is it hard to find the bugs? I think it's good if it works without mico
